Operations
Good maintenance shows in the absence of surprises. Backups are taken daily and verified, updates arrive on time and security is reviewed every week. This is a typical month of maintenance, seen from the inside:

Backups
I keep backups off the server and check that they restore correctly. If something fails, your website or software is recovered in full.
Updates
The software, extensions, dependencies and system are updated promptly once new versions are released, which is when updates protect the most.
Security
The firewall filters traffic all month long, and a regular scan looks for malware before it shows any sign.
Support
Minor changes and queries are handled within the plan, with the time they take logged to the minute.
Report
At the end of the month you receive a clear report of the work done and the state of your website or software.
Extras
Day-to-day work is already covered by the maintenance plan. For requests of greater substance, such as a new section, a redesign or an integration, I offer hour bundles for maximum flexibility.

Each bundle can be used within 12 months of purchase.
Well-defined jobs, such as a migration or a malware clean-up, do not draw on a bundle. Their price is published and fixed in advance.
Questions
What clients usually ask me before taking out a plan, answered plainly and with the terms in full view.
Monitoring alerts me at any hour if your website stops responding, and I start working on it without waiting for you to notice. If malware appears, the Shop plan includes the annual clean-up. On the other plans, it is a fixed-price job.
Back to the plansYes. Plans are paid month by month and can be cancelled with no penalty and no explanations. If your website is hosted with me, when we part ways I hand over the latest backup and help you move it wherever you decide.
Back to the plansYes, whatever it is built with: WordPress, PrestaShop, another CMS or custom development. The plan works on your hosting with the access you give me, wherever the website lives. Before starting, I review its condition so that I can tell you clearly what it needs. If it has gone some time without maintenance, bringing it up to date is a job with a published price, and so is the migration if you would rather move it to my infrastructure.
Back to the plansThe same as for any other website, at the same price. I keep the WordPress core, the theme and the plugins up to date, store the backups off the server and monitor security. Back to the plansIf I built your website and it is hosted on my servers, hosting is included in every plan. The domain is always registered in your name, and its annual renewal is charged at cost, with no margin. For websites hosted elsewhere, the plan covers the maintenance and your provider remains your provider.
Back to the plansEvery intervention is logged to the minute, and the monthly report shows you what the time was spent on. If you need more than the plan includes in a given month, I let you know before doing the work and you decide whether to buy an hour bundle or leave it for the following month.
Back to the plansEach bundle is valid for the 12 months following its purchase, more than enough time to use it without haste. Hours are deducted with each intervention, and after every job you receive the updated balance with its breakdown to the minute. They can be spent on your website and on your custom software alike.

There is no ‘contact us for pricing’ here. Every service publishes its price with the breakdown, and where a fixed price does not apply, I publish how it is calculated.
