Process
The project moves through four phases with one person in charge, from the first meeting to going live.
A representative project: a corporate website, from the first meeting to going live in four weeks.
You and I talk directly, with no intermediaries, to define the goals, the scope and the technology that best suits your project.
I show you the sketches and visual proposals, and nothing is coded until you have approved every screen.
I build your website in a staging environment where you can follow its progress at any moment.
Your website goes live with analytics configured, its documentation and my commitment to support you through anything unexpected.
Engineering
Every layer of your website rests on an engineering decision taken with judgement and backed by real measurements.
I write your website’s code to measure, with no templates or page builders. It loads only what your project needs, and that is why it flies.
I deploy your website on infrastructure with guaranteed resources, never on overcrowded shared hosting. It performs comfortably today and has room to grow when your project calls for it.
I serve your website from Cloudflare’s global network, so it loads quickly from anywhere, and the same system that delivers it stops attacks before they reach it.
All of the above adds up to a website that opens almost instantly, even on a poor connection, and holds steady while it loads, with no jumps or jolts.
Questions
Straight answers to all your questions. Being transparent also means helping you understand what you are paying for: in Labs I explain a real website quote, line by line.
That your website is designed from scratch around your identity, with its own sketches and visual design and never a purchased template. It is the standard in all three packages, not an extra reserved for the most complete one.
Back to the packagesBuilding the website: layout, content, forms and testing on mobile and desktop. We choose the specific technology (WordPress, Astro, Laravel…) together in the consultation according to your project, so you are not tied to any of them.
Back to the packagesUsing the text and images of your current website as the basis for the redesign costs nothing, as it is the norm when a site is rebuilt. Only volume work is priced separately: importing your blog posts with their redirects (€150) or a large product catalogue (CSV/Excel, €190). What I do not do is write copy from scratch. I work with the content you give me.
Back to the packagesWhat it takes for Google to find and index your website properly: meta tags, sitemap, clean URLs, performance and a connected Search Console. Visitor analytics are also configured and explained to you.
Back to the packagesEverything in technical SEO, plus content structured around keywords, structured data (schema.org) and meta tags worked page by page. In the shop it comes as standard, and every product page carries its structured data so it can appear in Google’s rich results. If you are moving from another website, it includes the redirects so you do not lose your rankings.
Back to the packagesAfter delivery you send me a list with every change you want (text, colours, images, spacing) and I apply them. Anything that widens the scope, such as new pages or features, is quoted separately as an extra. That is how the fixed price stays fixed.
Back to the packagesI publish your website with its security certificate (the padlock in the browser) and hand over the user documentation. Throughout the project you see how everything works, and we finish with a review session. There are no training hours to pay for.
Back to the packagesBoth are included for the first year. I register your domain in your name, whether .com, .co.uk, .es or whichever extension you prefer. For premium extensions or those costing more than €20 a year, I let you know beforehand and only the difference is invoiced. Your website goes live on my servers, behind Cloudflare, with protection against attacks, fast loading and a security certificate included. During the first year, without a maintenance plan, your website stays online with its domain and hosting, and if it goes down, I let you know and offer to fix it with a maintenance plan or an hour bundle. From the second year, hosting comes with any maintenance plan and the domain renewal is charged at cost, with no margin. If you prefer not to take one out, I hand over the website with its code and instructions so you can host it wherever you wish, because it is yours.
Back to the packagesThe €75 covers the full set-up: your domain’s records (MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, which make sure your emails arrive and do not end up in spam), a working mailbox and a configuration guide for your devices and your provider. Where the mailbox lives is decided in the consultation: forwarding to your current email (free), your own IMAP mailbox for Outlook, Thunderbird or your phone (~€1/month per mailbox), or professional Gmail with Google Workspace (from ~€7/user/month). Any provider fees are paid by you directly, with no mark-up on my part.
Back to the packagesYou do, always. While we develop your project, a private GitHub repository is created within the Julio.Works organisation. Once the project is complete, I send you a compressed archive with all the source code and the complete project data. I can also transfer the repository to your own GitHub account if you prefer.
Back to the packagesYou provide the photo, price and description of each product, and I load and structure them in the shop. Up to 50 products entered by hand are included. If there are hundreds or thousands, the import is automated from CSV or Excel as an extra (€190).
Back to the packagesOne payment gateway is included, of your choice: card payments through Redsys (your bank’s gateway, with no extra platform fee), Bizum, Stripe or PayPal. Additional gateways are quoted as an extra.
Back to the packagesThe shop invoices every order at the moment of sale, and how it does so depends on your situation. If you are taxed in Spain, it comes ready for Veri*Factu, the Spanish Tax Agency’s system that records each invoice as it is issued so that it cannot be altered afterwards, and which becomes mandatory from 2027. To submit invoices to the Tax Agency I need your digital certificate or a power of representation, which we settle at the start of the project. If you are taxed under one of the regional systems of the Basque Country or Navarre, which have schemes of their own, we look at the procedure you need in the consultation. If you already invoice with your own software, such as Holded, Quipu or A3, I connect the shop to it so that invoicing is not duplicated. And if your business is not taxed in Spain, I adapt the shop’s invoicing to the regulations of your country. In every case, the price is the same.
Back to the packagesThe law requires every commercial website to have a legal notice, a cookie policy and terms of sale (the LSSI is Spain’s e-commerce law). I set up the base texts and the cookie banner so that you comply. This is not legal advice, and complex cases are best taken to a lawyer.
Back to the packagesBecause the shop is built with open-source software and is yours for good. You pay no monthly platform fee and no percentage of each sale, as happens with Shopify. The only fee you pay is your gateway’s bank charge.
Back to the packagesGuarantees
Neither the size nor the length of the project changes these terms. They apply the same to a five-page website and to a system built over several months.
Every price, published
There is no ‘contact us for pricing’ here. Every service publishes its price with the breakdown, and where a fixed price does not apply, I publish how it is calculated.
Fixed-price quotes
Every requirement is analysed in detail before quoting, which lets me give you a closed price with no surprises along the way.
No fine print
I bet on transparency in both pricing and scope. Every quote states what it includes and what it leaves out before you sign anything.
One point of contact
Whoever quotes your project is the one who designs it, builds it and answers once it is live, with no account managers in between.
Tell me what you have in mind or what you need to build, and I will reply within 48 hours with a detailed assessment and a realistic scope.
